As one of those who had to get tested yesterday, the “details” don’t fricking matter when you’re in isolation away from your own family.

Yes the CDC has said the same thing. I posted about it in other sky is falling threads and it was ignored.

Bigger numbers and skewed data are always scarier, though.

They only test those with sever symptoms and have underlying health issues, ie those most likely to have it. Of course the results are high. If you have no symptoms, why would you get tested?

Common sense says that #’s will go up since we are just getting going with testing

the mean old media kept pointing out that testing was bunk in usa but trump kept saying it would blow over as if a miracle.

now you know.
testing allows the truth to be used to decide appropriate measures.

okie governor and some gop southern cal right wing house of reps guy was still dealing a raft of bunk and hokum last week.

Why would you post something so negative and rude? Is your life that miserable that you need to spread it to others? Be grateful you’re not homeless, have clean running water, fresh air to breathe, and have so many rights that others don’t.

Of all posts to trigger this reaction, it seems you have your own underlying problems to deal with so I'll leave it be. I hope you figure it out and life gets better.

These are likely not even from the bigger samples that they started doing yesterday.

Just confirms that there are many out there carrying this virus who could be spreading it to the at-risk population.

It confirms that they are only testing the people that meet the risk criteria.

It was 36.4%. Hopefully that trend doesn’t continue but it’s a little concerning to see it increase.

I think this is misleading. It sounds like they're only testing people who have extreme symptoms.
