I fully expect Louisiana to completely mismanage this and become one of the worst states nationally with this. It's what we do best...being last.

I’m glad I live 6 miles from Texas on the opposite end of the state from NOLA.

Only those who meet the qualifications for being tested are actually being tested.

I understand that those who are being tested are those showing symptoms with a negative flu test so the number is skewed a bit but my point was that of those being tested, the positive result numbers are increasing.

The number of NO cases is sobering. NO by itself may be on pace to surpass the entire state of Texas.

Population density. Us rural baws should just avoid big cities.

Why would you post something so negative and rude? Is your life that miserable that you need to spread it to others? Be grateful you’re not homeless, have clean running water, fresh air to breathe, and have so many rights that others don’t.

I'm blown away the percentage isn't coming back at something like 80-90%.

So if only 1/3 have Covid, what the hell do the other 2/3 have? Allergies and a bad case of anxiety.

This. My allergies suck right now. But people that pay attention know the symptoms aren’t CV symptoms. People are panicky idiots. Same shite different trigger.

I read something over the weekend that there is fear the virus was spread massively during Mardi Gras. Several out of state people that have tested positive had been to New Orleans for Mardi Gras.

If one assumes this is true, you have to wonder how much this would have gotten worse (faster) if St. Patty's day parades and sporting events hadn't been canceled.
