It's Dallas/Houston IMO. They should stick to their mud beaches.

Yes. You should go somewhere else next time.

I’m here as well, did the Publix tour yesterday. Only two people in front at checkout. The aisles were packed for sure, but it ain’t any different than usual. If you came here expecting to eat out on a Saturday, we’ll.....I remember my first time too.

You just don’t know how to do it. We’re going in a couple of weeks and the beach won’t be crowded, we won’t have traffic, and it will be a great vacation. Figure it out.

Was fine 2 weeks ago. Just stock up on beer and essentials so that you dont have to go to Publix on Saturday or Sunday. My family has been going the last 12 years or so, It has definitely become more congested, but think it has maxed itself out as far as growth. We have friends that live there and they don't eat out at restaurants until after labor day.

You know if someone stuck a Top Golf on 30A, it would make BANK. Just putting that out there if any of you baws are in Florida real estate.

Hopefully, two months of business is enough to keep the business afloat for the other 10 months out the year.

Drat I just left 30A yesterday and had a marvelous time. Stay in Watercolor rather than rosemary if you want less of a crowd. Watercolor is so spread out it doesn’t seem too bad.

Go after Labor Day. Less crowds and cheaper rates.

30A is still a nice place but it is definitely way too crowded. It used to be the sleepy escape from Destin & PCB. Now it can be every bit as crowded. It’s even gotten bad in the Fall. Seaside is basically Baytowne Wharf now. It’s sad what it has all become down there.

holly beach
Almost every summer of my youth was spent on Holly Beach... The memory of tar balls and remnants of fallen camps sticking out of the surf brings a tear to my eye.

Even though it is busy, in my opinion the nature of the crowds is better on Thanksgiving, Christmas, NYE, etc. than in mid summer. More owners and longtime visitors makes it seem more laidback, despite the waits and traffic that still exist in those stretches.

Grayton is not packed. Never has been. Especially with the red bar not there.
