My wife’s cousin’s daughter was close to the 3 girls; very lucky she couldn’t go with them. She started a Go Fund Me to help with the funeral expenses.

This POS being able to drive after having previous DUIs, tells me that there are others who are just as responsible for these lives being lost. Yes he drove the vehicle, but the mother frickers who saw to it that he got only a slap on the wrist before, need to also do time.

We are proving that we can't police ourselves as a society.
Everything is going to shite; law enforcement, the legal establishment, the general populace, every faction of society.
And who pays?
The innocent victims.
Unrelated but related: I used to be against gun control but we have shown that we can't have them without Sandy Hooks happening and random car-jackings, etc.
We seemingly can't have driving privileges either.
Too many members of society color outside of the lines and the proportion and severity gets worse ever year.
Rant over, terrible news for the families and friends of the victims.

Idk of any reasonable person that is in support of the bond system after recent events, it's like every scum criminal from the Christmas Parade to this is "out on bond" and destroying more lives. I don't feel we as a society owe it to criminals to be out until their trial, change my mind.

If it was a hybrid, once it catches fire you ain't putting it out. It burns hot, like magnesium, and spreads very quickly.
If I'm not mistaken, fire crews need a special chemical to extinguish those battery fires.

I'd venture to say 80% of people booked on a daily basis are out on bond or on probation for crimes they should've been locked up for committing. Just throw away the key and a lot of these "he should've never been released" incidents will stop happening.

What should the previous judge have done? Please, be specific. Considering you're calling for locking someone in a cage over it, I assume you have significant knowledge of the case in question as well as applicable law.
