1996 Bash at the Beach..the NWO was born. Great couple of years of wrestling followed.

"... he may be wearing red but he's wearing red AND yellow".
Tony Schiavone literally the worst on the mic of all time.

Most important moment in wrestling history. No Hogan heel turn means no Stone Cold or The Rock. Sure Steve Austin and Rocky Maivia would be rostered, but with no Attitude. WCW forced Vince to go another direction that America was clamoring for.

I'm convinced the 90s were peak humanity.

I could never listen to that guy. WCW was cheesy AF.

The commentary was all around awful, starting with one guy spoiling the heel turn and the other trying to shut him up

Talked my parents into getting this PPV. Was absolutely one of the most shocking moments of my childhood. Very difficult to explain what a big deal this was to someone not of my generation.

In the moment it didn’t spoil anything, the whole thing was surreal and Bobby was not a reliable narrator anyway.

Was watching with one of my best friends, HUGE Hogan fan. He burned all his Hogan gear that night.
