They are gearing up to sell the USA the power to run all of our EVs. Brandon says it’s all good.

I'm sure no slave labor was used in its construction. Also, this

quote:

Key findings of the report
Coal power plant permitting, construction starts and new project announcements accelerated dramatically in China in 2022, with new permits reaching the highest level since 2015. The coal power capacity starting construction in China was six times as large as that in all of the rest of the world combined.

50 GW of coal power capacity started construction in China in 2022, a more than 50% increase from 2021. Many of these projects had their permits fast-tracked and moved to construction in a matter of months. A total of 106 GW of new coal power projects were permitted, the equivalent of two large coal power plants per week 1.

Why our overlord Greta has not spent most of her time in China setting them straight, and instead is focused on eliminating gas stoves in the West is just beyond me!

Because liberals are incapable of thinking for themselves. See the left's response to the common head cold

This is how you know that the greenies and enviro-Marxists don't really give a shite about the environment or Mother Gaia. If they did, they would demand stuff import tariffs or outright bans on Chinese or Indian made products until they comply with our emissions and manufacturing standards - you know, the countries that actually pollute on a massive scale. But, we already knew the Democrats and progressives don't actually care.

Because all that coal they gonna burn is gonna cause sea levels to rise dramatically. They're just ahead of the game.

This is true partly because we have outsourced our heavy industries to them. If you make that map of pollution based on consumption instead of production it would look very different.

We sometimes get smog from China roll through here. Looked like we were in a forest fire for a week.

I cant imagine how terrible it must be at its points of origin.

It reduces transit time by almost 2 weeks and let's them move coal within their borders. China's energy pipeline completely relies on the US to make sure it flows by sea. If you swapped that then Americans would be screaming a the top of their keyboards to get that fixed
