Might as well be true. They blame everything else on climate change

Most Americans regardless of political affiliation believe in climate change. They just vehemently disagree on the cause of climate change.

What's the point of this post? Both scenarios can be caused by climate change. Whether you believe its a result of human impact or not, the world is heating up and severe weather is getting worse because of it.

Well yeah, considering that the Earth’s climate has always been changing. And always will be. Nothing humans do will have any meaningful effect on that.

Around 30 years ago we changed from old liquid-in-glass thermometers to electronic MMTS sensors, amongst many other changes

Just in the past decade, we have changed how we measure from the previous decade, and to account for that, we use a man-made methodology that can be subjective.

So, yes: the exact instruments and processing systems are not identical between the two decades.

But the older and newer measurements are calibrated and adjusted specifically so researchers can compare them across time. NASA’s current temperature series recalculates the historical record using a consistent methodology rather than simply comparing an old thermometer directly with a new instrument.

One of the great things about Michael Chricton’s book State of Fear was all the research he did on global warming and “climate action groups”. In the index he provided copious notes and references, and there’s an appendix with a speech he gave to Cal Tech on the subject. It’s a truly eye-opening look at the hysteria compared to what actual climate records say. It also directly addresses the accuracy and reliance on computer models in these panics.

So if the latter is true, let's continue to heath this baby up.
