Agreed.
That’s why I get dumbfounded when airplanes or two flying machines collide, in the air. How? Haha I mean you have to really frick up.

How?
Not to make excuses in this case, but it was probably more of a side swipe than anything...
Picture two 18-wheelers going down the interstate, tying themselves together and then passing each other snacks via a pulley system, while literal physics of the air moving between them tries to pull them together

the two: the Asian female Captain. They can’t properly operate their Infiniti SUVs on public roads, much less a ship at sea.
I use to work in Memorial City in Houston. I would look out the window each day into where the shopping and restaurants are and watch women parallel park.
I know it doesn’t seem like much, but these were some of the best wasted minutes of my life.

Roger that. I can see this easily happening.

Have Trans women become Ship Captans too?

Most of these vessels don’t even have breaks.
In 2026.

Not crazy when occurring during fuel reps. I have seen some pretty choppy water in my replenishments. Extensive training and methodical processes but sometimes Mother Nature wins.

Let’s see who is at the helm.
USNS ships are not US Navy line vessels but civilian-crewed vessels that support Navy ops. They're typically manned by the Merchant Marine with a small uniformed Navy detachment onboard for certain operations.

Captain Pete looks like someone I'd drink High Life's with in Chauvin while running a shrimp boat.

I've never seen it happen with my eyes. I did however go TAD to a USNS oiler to go fix their records and teach them (all women) how to do their jobs. At the time Women weren't allowed on combat vessels. I rode in a Helo to get there and took a bosun's chair between the ships when refueling to get back. I preferred the helo. I had to laugh when I went to get in the chair because above your head was a roll of toilet paper. Unsure why but my brain still remembers it.
They had much better chow on the USNS than the aircraft carrier. And those women? meh I called them oil cows.

Ship's pilot probably got distracted when the stripper popped out of the cake.

They take a lot or coordination, We had a flight deck so we didn't have to do many, and the admiral didn't like to leave Bahrain much.

Long description, skip it if tldr, don’t care:
I had kids who played soccer through High School. I had occasion to watch more girls soccer than a person should have to see in a lifetime. A sizable number of girls cannot accurately estimate the ballistic path of a soccer ball. I base this on too much (for me) observation, a ball would be kicked high into the air towards a player and in many cases where the player would have plenty of time to judge where to set up for an easy header, the ball would either hit ahead of them or over their head. Once I noticed it I realized how common it was. Obviously there are some girls/women who can accurately judge this but a large percentage of them just cannot predict physical outcomes of real world actions. And this was admittedly observed at lower skill levels than those of the USWNT.
