Would’ve loved to hear the conversation that was going on in the car.
If you had to choose one or the other, not both, would you prefer:
- full, 5x5 audio recording of both, from one mile before they arrived at bridge, to last breath
- high-def video (lit by multiple klieg lights) of entire event
I'm thinking the audio would be my choice.

Audio. No doubt.
I know how it ends, I'd much rather hear how it was conceived.

Been over that bridge a lot.
Way too wide and not near enough ramp (way to short and is steep transition) to try it. No way they could get the speed up from the arm to the ramp either.
Side note an operator was killed there last year I think when she was pulled into the gear system.

I don’t think anyone was wondering about the validity of any of those statements at this point

Ole Baws were trying to make it to Boone's corner before it closed. Crabbing should be good around there this week.

IIRC 2 people died in that truck. Not a gif I find amusing.
People die every day in hilarious circumstances, as evidenced by the OP story. Unless you knew the people, you can laugh at the absurdity. Lighten up.

Believe it or not, I actually hung out with one of the guys’ ex girlfriends over the weekend. She was telling me this story and I’m thinking the girl is fricking with me, cause nobody is that dumb.
Then I pull up TD and sure enough.
I didn’t have the heart to show her this thread.

I think that given the magnitude of the dumbassery shown in this incident, you owe us everything that she told you about either of the deceased, or the incident itself.

She really didn’t know much about it or she didn’t want to tell me, and I didn’t pry into his life cause we were at a pool party and it was a fun day. She was a sweet girl and I could tell something was off, so I leant her an ear and she mentioned the incident. We just talked and drank beer and had a nice conversation about other things.

Thank you for posting this. This is why I lurk the OT to get news just like this. I haven’t read all ten pages but I’m sure someone has made a “Dukes Of Hazard” reference. Just some good ole boys. Yeeee-ha!
