one of my best friends growing up retired from the CIA a few years ago, really smart kid without a really good personality(CIA/FBI hires a ton of nerds,) valedictorian and class president of his senior hs class, enlisted in the Army instead of initially going to college(right at the end of the VN war,) was a Green Beret and the CIA recruited him, he was definitely on the business end of the operation

My mom was retired CIA. I was a summer only employee when I was in college. Sadly, that program no longer exists. I can tell you that for 20 years with that job on my resume I was offered every position I applied for.

I’m good friends with the former director of operations. He was a spook before the CIA went to shite. He and his wife were our first deep cover assets behind the iron curtain. I wish I knew 1/2 the shite he saw.
