That 16 cents they saved last July should've been enough for a full spread

I enjoy certain thanksgiving foods but i just don’t enjoy the holiday or Christmas. I’m glad when they are over.

It’s way too forced

I call BS for two reasons.
1. Because it is BS
2. Because most people who would need to save $$ do not plan things this way.

Nah, I'm apathetic about turkey.

I despised (past tense) Fleur de Lis

While I certainly can't know for sure, I seriously doubt there was anything resembling that kind of intent in the naming. More likely, it was just some college kids thinking it sounded funny and clever a couple of decades ago, and it just stuck. "I'm doing friends Thanksgiving this year. Friendsgiving, amirite?"

You aren’t familiar enough with the modern day devotees of the Frankfurt School, the critical theorists. Destruction of the family is a primary goal of theirs. We are living in the dawn of their budding era.

Bro, gotta have turkey on Thanksgiving. I'm going with turkey, dressing, mixed vegetables and fruit compote. I can't wait to dig into that Hungry Man dinner.

They are picking the wrong holiday to skip. Skip Christmas gifts to save money.
