I wish people would state what area they are from more often in this thread, so we have an idea what they are referencing when they say “we.”

Memphis area 1/2 inch or so powder on the roads and sidewalk. Not so much on the grass.

Well, my daughter is in Fort Worth trying to get to work at a local hospital and there certainly is frozen precip now....I hope the roads are still clear and salted. Driving in ice is the worst.

Chilly 68 here in Southwest Florida. High to reach the mid 80's. The map isn't looking great for the rest of y'all.

My daughter lives in Roanoke between Ft. Worth and Denton. She is a teacher though. No school today. I texted her yesterday afternoon and she said it was 50 degrees and raining.
I live 30 miles north of Oklahoma City. We are forecasted to get 10" - 15" before end of day Sunday.
As of 6 am Saturday we have less than an inch and it is not currently snowing.

We were supposed to warm up slightly overnight (7-8F), we are at 0 headed to -1. Snow has been off and on but pretty light, might have 1/2” thus far. TX, panhandle.

What’s the latest models for next weekend looking like? GFS still showing the snowpocalypse?

That was much worse in our area (central OK) than this event.
Seems like we had ice on the roads around here for about a month.
This time around, it is snow only. Of course, when it melts, it will freeze over during the night.
