GFS going crazy this morning on the low temperatures for early next week. Showing -14F in Huntsville Tuesday morning, and staying below freezing for two weeks.

Looks like most of SC is in ice range still even with the shift North.

I really don't want to deal with half and inch plus of ice for two days

Thank god we cut all our pine trees down after the last storm in 2021.

Good luck to everyone.

Right now I’m just hoping it doesn’t keep pushing that ice further north. On some of the newer runs it’s just below us. frick.

Sorry belle, y'all need to take this one. I don't like the cold. Keep jogging north!

Just like you shouldn't go all in on one model showing a foot of snow, don't buy into one model showing just rain. Things are going to change a dozen times between now and Friday/Saturday.

We won't really now much until tomorrow evening at the earliest.

I was on the border of it here in Austin. The major shift looks like it'll have no impact on us now thankfully.

Wouldn't say that yet but when the GFS is on its own it almost always caves at some point to what the Euro has.

SIAP, but how does one learn how to interpret/make use of all the colorful weather maps on these threads and what all the letter/number designations mean? Thanks

Looking like a giant nothing burger for the ATL metro.

Retards will still flood Costco and grocery stores with the panic buying.

This is why meteorologists shouldn’t post doomcast maps 6-7 days out. The trend continues to keep the worst of the weather away from South Louisiana.
