WWL SportsTalk adds Mike Detillier as host, forming 3-person crew for 1st time

Mike Detillier has been analyzing Saints, LSU and all things football on WWL Radio for years, but his role is now getting even bigger.
He'll be spending even more time on the air with Bobby Hebert and the SportsTalk team.
“Mike Detillier will officially join Bobby Hebert and Kristian Garic on SportsTalk Monday through Thursdays from 4 to 6 p.m.," according to a station news release.
It’s the first time since the show’s inception that it’s a three-man show. Detillier made his debut on Wednesday's show alongside Garic and Hebert from 4 to 8 p.m.

Listened to them on the way home today and it was terrible. Too many voices especially when they interview someone like they did with Archie Manning today.

I used to like Detillier on AFR, but Matt just lets him ramble on endlessly now. The only interesting part is the “ask Mike” segment at the end, though typically they only have 2 minutes left by then.

Hopefully he bumps out the resident marine. With Mike and Bobby, we may never complain about commercials again because there will never be a pause in their conversations.

While I can’t stand Garic the best line up would be Mike and Geric with Bobby two days out of the week when it’s not football season.

Detillier reminds me of that guy that blabbers on stupidly about sports in the most confident way at the table next to you at a restaurant or bar and it’s driving you nuts because you can’t interject and disagree with the shite he’s spewing cause then they’d know you were eavesdropping.

You cannot include the words "best line up" and have Garic anywhere in that sentence. I am hoping this is simply the precursor to removing Garic from the air. He is an upgrade over Deke, but that is about all you can say for him. He has got to be the only "insider" that knows less about what is going on then a casual fan.

Garic is awful. Bobby and Mike pontificate with 20 minute questions when they actually have a decent guest on. Whole show is trash
