Thought the timing of JB turning down Saints was funny bc of what exactly happened tonight

Why not wait until this game was played to announce that?

Could have had a fresh clean slate with a welcoming fanbase because of the obvious LSU connection with no lofty expectations for the next couple years

But now you're stuck in shitty frozen Buffalo with a fanbase pissed at you for wasting a generational talent at QB

That playcalling stunk, brother

Or you struggle like crazy with this roster and you’re out in 2 years and now your shine has completely worn off.

What I thought was interesting is he seemingly went away from the run a few drives after Buffalo had success running.

I remember thinking “glad he did that”.

He’s holding out for Bengals.

Or he knows he’s not one of the top 2 guys because it’s with someone available now (I’m assuming McCarthy) & Moore; so his people wanted him to get in front of it to make it look likes he’s making calls like Ben Johnson

I'm confused on why anybody thinks he even wants a HC job. I thought he always wanted to be a coordinator?

He’s hoping the bengals dump Zach Taylor next year and he’ll go be reunited with Joe

I dunno, maybe $10M annually vs. $1.8M?

It's a shame people seem to somehow give him the credit for the 2019 LSU-Burrow team. Steve Ensminger isn't even thought about any more. Ensminger should be on the Mt. Rushmore of LSU football.

This is quite plausible. Many people will ‘withdraw’ from consideration when they know they’re not getting the job. It’s almost like “you can’t fire me I quit!” logic.

He knows the Saints are a disaster and he’s not worth a shite without an elite QB

Look at his Carolina stint.

Lol yea ok. Pretty sure his agent told him he’s not going anywhere near us.

Lmao, If he takes orders from his agent instead of telling his agent what to do then thank god he didn't land here. That's clown world stuff.

Right, he knows he will fail without a great qb propping him up.

The only real interest this cycle came from the Saints and there was 7 jobs available. The idea that he can hold out for a particular job is kinda silly

Kinda like Moore needing a great qb … the best rb in the game … one of best wr in the game …. But he will have that here … oh wait

Did I say take orders? Maybe he trusts his agent’s common sense?
