A Bengal scored, and tried to throw it to a woman wearing - guess what? - a Bengals shirt and the dude jumped in front of her like a complete dick.
I was at a major league park this past year and a first baseman threw to kid in our group, who was wearing his shirt, well, some dude for the home team snagged it over an 8-year-old kid. The crowd booed him for 5 minutes until he relented. He was being a prick over a ball - just like this guy.
That guy was wrong, and so is this guy. Sometimes people get upset when you don't do the right thing - this is the what people are talking about here.

Now that I see the video, it's not that big of a deal. I thought from some of the descriptions that he had elbowed an old lady in the face and ripped it out of the woman's hands after she had possession of it. But, despite his being childish about it, it's nothing you don't see at every Mardi Gras.
