The Saints have interviewed QB coach Ronald Curry for their open offensive coordinator position, according to multiple sources. No big surprise there. He's highly thought of within the building

I swear if all these other interviews were just a sham…

If they name Curry I will be pissed. Not because of Ronald Curry but more so because we could have seen him call plays this year if we would have launched Pete.

of course they were never serious about hiring anyone, no one worth a shite will come here just to be fired next year.

A guy that that is highly thought of in the building.

Mickey Loomis says we have the right people in the building.

Makes you wonder doesn't it?

i think curry quietly took over the OC position about mid year, thats why things were getting better towards end of season. but they werent about to say anything about it publicly just in case it didnt work out.

curry might be a good hire, but he stands zero chance to do well while DA is still HC

What would make me the most nervous about this or anyone else that has not been a coordinator before would be working with Dennis Allen in his third year as a head coach.

Don't worry after we promote Curry, Mickey will have a PC to tell us how dumb we are and that DA handled this perfectly cuz he's a good coach.

Underhill has refuted this point several times. If this change happened, trust me it would have leaked.

Would not surprise me with the way the DA hire went.

Only way he should get it is if he convinces Michael Thomas to come back on a $1 mil. Prove it deal.

Did he bring a binder to the interview like Ed Orgeron? That would be so impressive

Bingo - you could have seen what he was capable of doing. Now, its another season in the balance and you have the added problem of trying to hire assistants under a HC who is on a one year life support.

Imagine not making the change mid season when you had an opportunity to save the season only to give the job to the guy anyway after the season is over.
