Such substantial bullshite when you have one side being the huge fricking trashball instigator. Yet, such laziness to assess fines accordingly as equals. NFL is so fricking stupid. They got more publicity for them fights than anything else of recent.

Who is the fine supposed to punish? The owner? Coaches? It's ridiculous because no owner or coach could keep a bunch of 250lb guys from fighting. None of them encouraged fighting, i'm sure. The fine doesn't really punish the participants. The NFL strikes again.

A billion dollar business being fined $500K, which will be in the form for a donation to a charitable organization and will be a tax write off is typical "Shield" window dressing to make people believe they are running a tight ship.

Fining the team does nothing. They’d need to watch the film and fine individual players if they really wanted to stop

I understand we don’t agree with the fine, but are we really saying a coach can’t control his players on the field.
You fight you leave the field. You fight, just remember we are evaluating playing time and roster spots ………
