Usually punt & kick returners have good hands. There’s nothing to confirm Shaheed has “buttery” hands. I don’t ever remember him muffling a punt. And didn’t drop passes.
I don’t know what Loomis’ fascination is with trying to find a diamond in the rough. After getting lucky to get Brees, whose injury didn’t hinder him. Loomis keeps going to the well looking for hidden gems. Too many injury ridden players hoping that they get healthy and pan out. Even Chase Young was hurt. Hopefully we stay lucky with Shough.

C’mon how can you not like Tyler? His play is solid thus far. Teammates like him and he interacts with fans and the city naturally/honestly. By all accounts he’s a good guy and good Quarterback.

I wasn’t sure during the draft (who was?) but I’ve never been against him. Get behind this kid.
I doubt he wins much of anything here. $100 million in damages is lofty. I doubt he can prove that this episode directly damaged him beyond $50k if that. A big nothing coming up. And he’s a tool as well. What kind of guy personally disrespects another man like that? unless he wants to fight?

Throw the case out.

He has neaux idea how to pronounce Shough or he doesn’t kneaux how to be clever. Who kneaux’s if he’ll ever figure it out? It’s painful that he hasn’t yet.
Let’s go. Sean Payton & Saints(West) to the Superbowl!

In order to have a catch in football the criteria are:

Control of the ball
2 feet in bounds
A football move
Survive the ground

He has 2 of the 4 total.

Yes he controls the ball and is in bounds but there's no football move and you can't say he survives the ground because he doesn't have it when he gets up.

From a defensive standpoint, the ball never touches the ground so if there's no catch based on not all criteria being met, it's like snatching up a ball that's bobbled by a receiver who never fully had possession.

You wanna say catch and down by contact but without a football move not all elements are there.

The Rodgers call was wrong.

Will be interesting to see if Loomis does his usual game plan - Fill out the roster with free agent acquisitions so that you can draft BPA. He already got a WR from Canada....so maybe WR is off of the table with the Number 8 pick.

I wouldn't be too upset with Loomis filling a few holes with smart FA contracts and then be prepared to fill out the remaining areas of need.

Lol. 24 yrs old.

From you’ve got “Mossed” to you got “Moosed!”
Uh oh…you’re not allowed to give credit to Loomis on this site. I’m gonna tell. LMAO!!
Nothing wrong with Mr. Shough.

Give that young man some additional talent around him and pray for good health.

If you get 10years of solid QB play what is there to complain about??

Most QBs aren’t starting that long.
He threw that ball behind him. Should have been a fumble
Probably should also consider what will be done with Kamara while we’re at it.

re: First Round has to be WR this year

This is simply not true. Brees didn’t have protection for 3-4 seconds. Drew rarely held the ball past 2.5 seconds. I know this because I watched many games with a stopwatch in my hand. The offensive line was good but Drew also did them a big favor by being able to read a defense and decisively get rid of the ball quickly.
100% happy for him. If they aren’t playing the Saints I don’t mind seeing him win. I’m glad he got us a Superbowl and a decade of sticking it to the Falcons (I’ve got friends in Atlanta).

One of my favorite coaches of any team ever. Remember the good times. Him giving the “choke” to the Falcons. Him dancing with players in the locker room after a win. He has a song “do the Sean Payton!” I wish he was still here but it is what it is.
Short yardage has been awful all season. Moore can’t figure it out thus far. Sad.
To be fair..Ward had to play against Cleveland’s defense…which is the 2nd or 3rd best defense in the league…with potential game wrecker Myles Garrett. To win the game and score is nice work.

Shedeur played well against a less stellar defensive group. But yes, Shedeur looked good…especially for a 5th round pick.
Sean wasn’t a good coach because he had Drew. He’s just a really good coach. He takes players talents and builds around them. He’s also great at scheming and game management. Give him a decent roster and he’ll win. That’s what good coaches do. He demands that players fulfill their responsibilities.

Dennis Allen looked unsure on Sunday (go for it?, FG?, challenge?, timeout?). Kellen Moore has that unsure look sometimes too (Rookie coach perhaps)…play calls, substitutions, red zone calls.
