For all you Twitter dorks, any account that does some combination of BREAKING NEWS with a red light icon on the regular is mostly full of $hit. Whether is sports, politics, finance, etc.

There won't be a Pickens/ Olave/ Tyson. We aren't getting out of cap hell and then choosing to pay 2 WRs $70mil after drafting a dude who could be better than both on a rookie contract. Pickens for Olave? Maybe. Pickens and trade Olave? Probably.
For the cost of Pickens/ Olave you can pick one and then pay an Elite OL/ CB.
Would rather trade for Ward from CLE and give him $30mil over the 2 of Olave/ Pickens.

We are about to pay Olave 35 million and just drafted 3 WRs. Maybe a few months ago this could have hpapened, but no way now

they are likely to extend Olave
and you used a 1st round pick on Tyson
too many other needs on this roster to pay a ransom for Pickens and the headaches he might bring on top of having to give him a large long term contract

Yeah if you are going to waste cap then trade for Denzel Ward and give him a 2 year extension @ $30-$35mil. Denzel Ward for the next 4 years is probably the only piece we are missing.
The only upside to this rumor is that is seems we are indeed open to making more moves and paying another big contract, just hope its not at WR beyond Olave.

I was by far the biggest Pickens guy on here, but that ship has sailed. The time to get him was last year when you could get him buying low like I said. He’d also have given you protection against another Olave injury.
I wouldn’t touch a trade for him now. I’d prefer to see if the cowboys want to pay him and trade CeeDee. Hes better than Olave. Or just roll with what we got.
