Our head coach sucks. No QB. Our Owner never has had to work for anything in her life.

Please someone give me a reason to be optimistic about the Saints' future.

Blame Payton for no trading up for the qb he knew you couldn’t miss on

There is none. It’s paper bag time again soon. Unless a star qb magically appears, it’s a slow downfall for the next decade

Only thing you can enjoy?

Obtaining assets and draft day 2024. That is unless DA really likes a player this year and trades everything again

I guess we have to hope last year was the result of injuries and some unnecessary close losses (MIN, TAM, etc). Yep this is tough.

I’ve got nothing. Even if we go 1-16 next year and get the No 1 pick, there’s no way Caleb Williams would come to NOLA. As meticulous as he was during his college recruiting (wanting to play for Brady), he’ll force a trade like Elway and Eli Manning to avoid dysfunction of NOLA and the Saints.

Only the strength and vision of Sean Payton created a winner here. Reggie Bush didn’t want to come and his agent told Sean not to draft him. If Caleb is available for us, I’d bet the trade will be forced.

Yeah, you can't blame Payton for that even though "he knew" Mahomes would be special. Same guy who spent third-round picks on Garrett Grayson and Ian Book. I almost became a millionaire, too.

Im all on board about being pessimistic about next season….but wtf does this have to do with it? Isnt this the case for most billionaire owners?

Saints are winning 11 games next season. I feel it in my bones. Then I will sit back and watch this board lose its shite as Dennis Allen gets an extension.

Idk about y’all… I don’t want an owner that meddles in football decisions honestly. They really should just be a figure head for the most part.

Nothing… I bet they sell the team in the next 5+ years. This organization is not hell bent on having a winning culture anymore.

Bush was drafted the year after Katrina when there were serious questions about the future of the city, however I seem to recall he actually did play for the Saints so that he may not have wanted to didn’t really matter now did it? Any team with the #1 pick will be bad for all the whiners on the board the Saints are no where near the most dysfunctional teams in the league. Reading this board I’d think they havent won a single game in years not 7-10
