Why would you be surprised? Allen doesn't know much as a HC, he's a good DC, but that's it. He just doesn't really know much about being a HC and you can see it. I don't know how he ever became one in the first place.

He really coaches the defense, Carmichael pretty much has control of the offense....and it is full of bone head activity.
