Maybe Minkah Fitzpatrick could fall like Lattimore did, and we can snag him to replace Vacarro....please have a mediocre combine Minkah

They should just let it fall and take best player available.

Mock Drafts in general are stupid. I have never seen Kiper get one right and outside of the few obvious picks usually 1-5 it is a total crap shoot what these Franchises are going to do. It is good to take a look at the prospects and watch the combine where there is nothing to do ,but overall mock drafts are useless.

Saints are known for filling holes in FA then drafting best player available which is usually a good way to go about it. The only truly glaring holes I see in our team is LB and another pass rusher. We blitz a lot more than we should some games. Evans from Bama would be great at 27 I think.

Only one Bama LB that's gone in the first round since Saban got there has flamed out: Rolando McClain.

Hightower
Moseley
Foster

Are all really good players and cornerstones for their teams on D. Hightower and Moseley are Pro Bowlers and Foster will be. Hell he had an elite level grade per PFF. I'll take Evans. He seems more Day 1 ready than Edmunds even though Edmunds ceiling is through the roof

I'd much rather see us spend money on WR in FA

There aren't as many studs defensively in FA this year which is why I'd rather see us draft mainly defense and spend our $$$ on TE and WR and resigning our guys

^^^^^
This
Plus we want a FA WR and TE that can start for us right away.

I’d prefer Evans or Andrews at this current time.

If we make upgrades at TE and LB before the draft then I’m happy getting Sutton, who would be a great compliment to Thomas and push ginn inside for mismatches

By that time Drew will be off the books. Won't need to trade him, or anyone else for the space.

Don't know too much at all about Sutton. Favored Kirk only because I know the name and have seen him play a couple times. Would rather get a WR in FA though if we go that route.

Way too early for this crap. I'm ready for the combine though. Couldn't care less about this weekends games or the Superbowl, or the Pro Bowl. The sooner the offseason gets here, the better.

It will be the first offseason in a few years where I actually have faith in this front office to make the right decisions. Should a repeat of last offseason be expected? Probably not. But that should definitely be the goal and the bar we try to reach.

He also has us passing on Arden Key to make that pick. That would be a mistake. Key struggled to get back in shape this year, but he was one of the best players in college football last year.

I don't think it's a good fit. He seems to play more like MT. We need another body to stretch the field.

Getting a good pass catching TE would help the receivers we have immediately rather than another receiver IMO

Any DT's in the draft slotted around where we pick? People talk about adding Key or another DE/edge rusher to aide in the pass rush, but I'd think adding another big beast next to Rankins would do just fine. Teams would be so focused on the inside of the pocket that Cam Jordan would face less blocking, and whoever is opposite him would be 1 on 1 for sure.
