Ok, are we being to careful with him? We gave up a ton for the dude now he is not practicing?

Perhaps we've seen enough to know that we only need him for 3rd downs most of the season and he can come on strong for us in the playoffs ALA Barnett for PHilly last year.
Okafor has looked healthy (supposedly) no need to get the rookies arse whipped all camp as if he's going to be playing 3 downs week one.

Originally I was worried about it but I think there's no need to rush him back because we seem to actually have depth at that position unlike before. Okafor and Hendrickson are going to get the majority of snaps opposite from Cam this season to start out with. Let the rookie be a situational pass rusher until he figures things out.
Someone can correct me if I'm wrong but I don't think Danielle Hunter was a starter his rookie year. Dude was super talented but raw much like Davenport is.

Try "his entire career".
Its just like Mark Ingram. Retards will hate him no matter what he does because he was not a 1st ballot HOF day 1 and we traded up to get him. Same thing with Davenport. You could see the hate all offseason and it will only get worse.
It also happens when a player gets paid, re: Drew Brees.
