He needs to be at practice and working with MVB to see if there’s any chance he can make him the guy next year

He doesn’t have to be there another day to take whatever kids he wants from OM

Ole Miss can hire Sumerall Tomorrow but he’s not coaching the fricking team this year
Austin Thomas will be recruiting on Lanes behalf while he finishes the season
There isn’t much downside to LSU not having Kiffin ON SITE next week while having it publically announced he’s the coach
One could argue letting him get SECCG and CFP coaching experience would actually be a positive for us as well.

But they have talent and a mobile QB who can win with his legs
I think they lucked out not having to go to the SECCG and play UGA or Bama.

LSU could make BK's life hell with the Greg Brooks story and plenty of room for them to sue him over the buyout with certain language in the contract.
BK takes 1/2 the buyout to walk away in silence or he can fight for it all over the next two years.
