Exactly. People are just running with an old narrative proven wrong time and time again. There is zero data correlating hand size to success in the NFL.
There’s a possibility Pickett fails in the NFL, but it won’t be because of hand size.

Every first round QB draft candidate this year would have been on the "what round do we take a flyer on this guy" list in 2020.
Jalen hurts went second round in 2020 and would probably be the top QB pick in this class. This is a particularly weak class

Well no, but we signed him to a pretty large deal and gave him the opportunity to earn the job. I never heard anything about his hands.
Joe Burrow was also told his 9 inch hands would be too small, that doesn't seem to be the case either.
I just don't think the old school view of the proto-typical quarterback is all that highly valued at this point. Kyler Murray, Russell Wilson, Jalen Hurts, and Baker Mayfield all had questions about their height going into the draft. It didn't seem to affect their draft position
