TE is a need going into next year. That's back to back years he's hurt.

Jimmy Graham mentioned today he would come back to play another year, but only if it was with the saints. MAKE IT HAPPEN

That sucks. Seems like he’s always hurt. He’s got talent but doesn’t ever seem to be able to take the next step, injuries probably being the main reason why. Sucks for him and us.

He later confirmed it’s a good amount of “offseason time.”

This twitter thread is where Underhill shows his shortcomings as an insider.

He starts with "good amount of time"

Someone questions: "In season time?" Underhill answers: "haven't heard that."

Then, he clarifies with another tweet: "Offseason time"

If the time missed was just training camp and preseason, then why not just say "Johnson will miss most of training camp." It's how stuff like this is usually reported.

Obviously his "source" game him bad information and now he's covering for posting a partially inaccurate tweet. He didn't double source his report, and now he looks foolish.

Or he purposely phrased it that way to generate clicks/follows/conversation. More volume for him the better

Though I do hate when reporters do that crap, I just want the correct info as they know it to be in the title or thumbnail, not have to go start opening pages littered with ads for something that could have easily been covered in a 1 line title

I wouldn't mind seeing what he could offer this offense, but something tells me there was more to that incident out in California last summer than is being told and likely why he was used so little last season and just unceremoniously let go at the end of the 2023 season.

If I'm not mistaken, I saw that the Saints are working out some guy from the arena football league or whatever it's called. I think he's 6'4 or 6'5" and 240 lbs. Spent some time with Miami and I forgot what other NFL team, mainly in training camp.

Jimmy could catch 8-10 TDS for Kubiak's offense in a redzone role. Hell, he almost did it for Pete's amateur hour offense.

Sal Cannella. Was a TE/WR at Auburn. He’s dominated the USFL, XFL and now the UFL

Our TE room has to be near league worst even with Johnson healthy. Can’t hurt to kick tires

Or as simple as he was given information and later got further clarification from his source.
