Yes I know Penning is struggling and Ruiz did not have his best game but for Carr to be in the league as long as he has and be considered a "Uppper tier QB" he has the worst pocket presence of any QB i have ever seen. Ram did not all of the sudden start sucking...he can only hold his block for so long. Carr cannot step up or even maneuver in the pocket. DA or Muskrat Pete need to call Drew and get him coached up.

There were a few times in each game this season Ram wasn't even out of his stance and the DE was in the backfield.

Carr is getting hit from the left and right, and if they run any kind of stunt our dumbass interior lineman can't block it either so he is getting it up the middle.

Can the oline protect Winston while Carr is out?
That is the main question
Haener is out 3 more games
Hill would be next up

Probably need a practice squad QB as insurance

Bigger issue is Carmichael is terrible and runs a very unimaginative and predictable offense that requires perfect execution by everyone from QB to receivers to oline to be successful. He never schemes up quick easy passes by using motion or misdirection.

Here’s the truth. Penning isn’t struggling. He’s not a legitimate LT and I don’t think he will ever be one.

Ruiz is thought more highly of than he should be. He’s bad more than good. But we just extended him. So, everyone needs to pretend he doesn’t suck.

And Carr isn’t an upper tier QB. He’s an average NFL starting QB. He’s somewhere between 12th and 16th IMO. So you are going to see him unable to find the open guy and therefore take too much time in the pocket.

Ramczyk gave up 3 pressures and 2 sacks on Sunday. Penning - 1 pressure

Kinda what I saw. He had the two flags but I didn't see the swinging gate of the last two games.

Maybe the olinemen can have a only gated community members meeting soon.

Penning still has a ways to go but he was improved and at least gave some resistance to the DL in front of him. There was a few time Penning had his guy on the ground.

Ruiz and Ram sucked balls against Green Bay.

Ram did have a bad game but add 2 crucial holding penalties by Penning as well.

All I know is he is holding the ball way too long. Oline is not good this year. You need to be getting that ball out 2 seconds tops. Better to live another day and just throw it away.

That's always been the rub on Carr even with the Raiders

Every play where Carr gets annihilated immediately, there is a lineman standing around blocking no one...

which tells me we've either got a scheme problem, or these guys are too stupid or too unathletic to handle stunts and delayed blitzes

It's a combination of:

- Shitty scheme
- Overrated and overpaid OL
- No RB on active roster worth a shite to this point
- Mid QB who can't handle pressure and seldom makes plays off platform
