I mean if Marcus Williams makes that tackle the saints are going to the super bowl. The eagles are a joke. This one doesn’t feel any better the next morning.

It's one of the worst in that it won't be forgotten for a long time.

The 49ers loss was worse for me. We would have had the giants at home and that 2011 team was possibly the best Saints team of all time, even better than the 09 team IMO.

This loss is number 2 , and god damn it sucks.

Well it’s the most recent so feels like it. 2012 loss was worse b/c we had a much better team that year and Giants and Patriots were both somewhat overrated. It was a 50/50 us beating the Eagles in Philly, I don’t feel good about us beating Patriots this year. We would have beatdown Giants and Patriots in 2012.

You need to review the history of the Saints vs Falcons series.

There was a time when no Saints fan believed this franchise would ever have a winning season much less make the playoffs.

Saints lost because they let Kennan sit in the pocket for four seconds which gave his receiver time to run a 25 yard out....should have brought some pressure.

In 2011 I thought the Saints were the best team in the postseason

In 2017 we all knew we had to win this game just to get to the SB and 20+ down on IR...still not sure we could beat NE

2011 threw away an almost locked SB win

2017 threw away a SB appearance with a punchers chance to win

Bs. How’d that blitzing work out in 2012. We shoulda ran cover 3 man under. That keeps A man on everybody. 3 safeties over top. Defend goal line with safeties and sidelines with 5 frickikg guys starting at 35 yard line. Everybody would most likely been covered and a 3 man rush would makemhim throw a Hail Mary instead of thenshit we witnessed. Time would have ran out on him in pocket

The Saints have several gut wrenching losses in the playoffs where the opposing team rips their hearts out at the last second of a game they look like they’re gonna win. It’s not the worst, just the most recent.
