The team plays better with Hill at QB. The WR are WIDE OPEN, the running backs are now tricky to stop, and the grinding-style offense dominates time of possession, gives the D tons of rest, and we get 8 sacks.

Going to be some thinking to do when Brees gets healthy...glad I’m not Loomis.

I’m thinking that Hill exceeded all expectations and played a great game

Understand how great things lined up today

Focus on the process & not the results

This looked better than I thought it would. Room to make it better too.

Pump the brakes why? First start ever threw more passes than he ever has in his career, should have been over 300 yards, and he is a great runner. I’m completely shocked at how good he did.
Atlanta plays us good most of the time and the whole team dominated. I cannot wait for next week.

Put away the anointing oil, ok? This was Atlanta. That said, great start by Hill!

Look its obvious that DB best football is behind him, but we played a terrible team. Taysom looked good, but level of competition means a lot.

The more games Hill plays the better defenses will be able to defend him and have better game plans going forward but as long as our defense keeps playing like this, it should matter. Run the ball and when the TO battle and we all good

The Falcons were 3-1 coming into this with momentum. They're not a great team by any stretch but not NFC East bad either. Good win for the guys, and a good first start for Taysom

Who had momentum coming in, Our best DB was out, Brees was out, Peat left the game, etc. It’s the NFL, a win is a win

Not ready to pass the baton just yet. For a “rookie” first start, he was good; 18-23-2 / 51 rush. Add a 60 yard TD that was called back & 2 dropped passes, it was great. His smile was back in the second half as he got more comfortable & confident. He certainly fits the mild as a current day top NFL QB.

You see the look on Drew’s face ? Think he knows it too.

Drew will be back, but now that that SP can have confidence the kid can throw consistently, guessing it will be one step short of a two QB system. He throws a great deep ball & can obviously run. Ya can’t keep him off the field.

I’m this is a great point because never in the history of football has a backup QB had a good first game and reverted after that. Nope they always just continue to play above expectations even after the other teams get tape on him

How many games do you think you can do this running QB thing before he goes down for the count? Not a whole season; I’ll tell you that.
