Most consider a project, yet was the consensus 2nd best DE in the draft
And let’s be honest, if he went to UT-Austin instead of UT-San Antonio, he’d be a lot less of a project
fricking lazy fans and media

All things considered that’s actually not that bad of a draft lol

How do you know this was a shitty draft? What if we got a hall of fame d end? You have no idea how this draft will end up.

I don't know if Ireland had anything to do with that draft, but we got 4 players that are on the roster. 4 out of 9 isn't bad.
In 2016 we had 5 drafted players on the 53 man roster.
We are doing something right. Even if this draft sucks we are still a good team. I doubt we go into the season with Bushrod as our only Oline depth. We will either sign somebody else or a rookie will make his debut.

Of course not. The glaring mistake was Anthony, beyond that it’s not bad

I swear every year it's miserable ppl saying every draft for the SAINTS is horrible

What the media and the experts think is pretty far down the list of things I care about

I'd call it a much better than average draft but misery is gonna misery.
It's year 4 and how many of these guys are either on our roster or another?

Andrus Peat-very good to imo soon to be elite G in the nfl, can also be a solid LT in a pinch
Kikaha- Was playing great rookie year and had an acl injury which usually takes a couple years to truly recover from, still posts a decent amount of sacks and hurries
PJ Williams- Lattimore pushes him back but has played well and imo an underrated CB. Once he started playing nickel we looked much better than Harris in there, along with Crawley. Was gonna be starter his sophomore year before injury.
Davison- a starting NT
I give you Anthony but he couldn’t grasp it and that is Saints fault for drafting him. Swann showed a lot of promise his rookie year but after 3 concussions he never came back right.
Grayson and Tull- Most people who follow football know you aren’t gonna hit on all picks
2015 was a solid draft
ETA- Fixed most of predictive text shite

For example 96.8% of all 2nd round picks are on the team's active roster that drafted them at the start of year one but only 83.9% at the start of year three.

I love when armchair qbs act like they know more than the guys that study and scout these guys for a career based on looking at stats and a few YouTube videos.

You realize the same thing was said about Kamara last year when he was drafted. People and fans were scratching their head considering they had just signed AP plus Kamara was not even the starter at UT. Can people wait until after the year is over before saying this player was a bust or anything.
Why would you post the 2015 draft anyway? That was Loomis and Payton handprint all over it.
Wish I could give 10 downvotes.

You’re overreacting.
Davenport and Smith were fantastic picks. Leonard was a reach for sure.
