Ehh, you don’t last 15 years with the same organization in the NFL as a top 5 coach in the league by being lazy and distracted.

Man get the frick out of here with that bullshite. What other coach brought a Super Bowl to this city? It never ceases to amaze me how stupid some people can be. Are you just looking for a reason to bitch like a woman?

What he was able to get this team to do during Brees' extended injury breaks these past two seasons bought him all the rope he needs as far as I'm concerned.

We haven't even snapped the ball yet this season. What are you psychic? About 30 other teams would beg for the previous 15 seasons we have had under this coach. Nothing but spoiled fan jibber-jabber going on here.

He's 8-1 without Drew in the last 2 seasons. Stop talking out of your arse.

20+ other teams would fire their coach today and send Sean an offer if he became available.

Yeah, what the hell is he talking about?! Almost beating the Super Bowl bound Panthers in 2015? Going undefeated with Teddy in 2019? Going 3-1 with Taysom last year?

I vote this guys post as dumbest dumbass post datty... maybe most since the “Drew Brees is a shell” posts that started way back in 2010 — utterly asinine!

I remember when payton came in and had the O-line throw out the recliners, etc. Fast forward 15 years and they are having dance parties with lights, etc after every game and then forgetting about winning the games in the playoffs.

Not as good as people think. Drew made him look a lot better than he was. There have been several period where he neglected the team as was perceived:

Pain Pills Era
Divorce Era
Remarried Summer

This might be absurd on face value but there doesn’t seem to be much urgency on his parts for building parts of the roster. The hard work that comes with developing succession and long term strategy was never there. We “band-aid” everything. It worked for a decade. Now not so much.

I think you’re about to se a toilet bowl period. 2-3 years of marginal results unless they pull a top tier veteran QB to step in.

It’s clear Jamies isn’t going to pull the team out the gutter with his athletic prowess and skill. How Payton doesn’t know his starter by now is concerning. Screams neglect. This isn’t College Ball where you compete to see who wins the job.

Just putting it out there that there are periods where he doesn’t seem very interested in the job any more.

everything you said is 100% true, screw the idiot downvoters, they just chose to ignore the facts

Ridiculous post. Read Jeff Duncan's book Brees and Payton, and maybe you will have a different opinion of the Saints head coach.
