Not saying this is the case. Something you see with players who have dealt with a lot of injuries, is that they become terrified of every little pain they get, understandably so. Another player might just write it off as another nagging "part of football" soreness and not say anything. Tyson has been told to report every slight discomfort he has. Hopefully thats all this is.

That is actually not want you want to here. That means they want inflammation or swelling to lessen, and they know its at least a several day injury if not more than a week

So we don't want to hear that it's only a few day injury and possibly a little more than a week?? and that it's a separate injury from the prior one people were worried about??

To me that's great news. On both.
What we don't want to hear is he could be out several weeks or there's a tear or he reaggravated a prior injury

Doesn’t matter. Whether it’s a re-aggravation of a previous injury or a new one, he is constantly injured.

“Collecting information”

You don’t usually collect information for something that’s a couple of days.

I’m super high on Tyson but for him to already be getting hurt is very disappointing considering his injury history.

this might be a dude that we say, wrap in bubble wrap, stay on the sideline bro and wait for regular season. sort of manage some snap counts for a while.

Better it happens now than mid season.

ETA: Odell injured his hamstring early in preseason his rookie year and missed all the rest of camp and the first four games of the season. Proceeded to win OROTY based on the 12 games he played and then was all pro the next two years before he missed another long stretch for injury in 2017.

"Linger into the season" can be a total nothingburger or could mean missing games. Not going to freak out until he misses a preseason game he was supposed to play in.

I'm not saying the guys a bust but if your not a little concerned about this your not being objective. Name a guy that has had hammy problems early in college and in the first week and all of a sudden he went on a 5 year healthy run. This will continue for the rest of his career

Marshon Lattimore had multiple hamstring issues in college and the missed two games in his first five years. Along with Odell who previously mentioned.

Technically yes neither had both issues in college and then quickly in the pros. But both had significant hamstring problems and overcame them to have multiple all pro seasons

He’s had a hamstring injury that’s lingered since Sept ‘25 that we were still treating with kid gloves up until this “new” injury. So one injury is already lingering

Ok that's a fair take, atleast you don't think he's a bust.

Oh, so you think he's a bust.
