Dennis Allen was a bad hire.

Pairing him with Pete Carmichael, who didn’t even want the job originally, was an even poorer decision.

Mike McDaniel is killing it

Why are you such a bad poster no matter what room you post in?

I think from the get the Saints had their mind made up who they wanted.

Surely DA got the ringing endorsement from Payton.

I don't know if it was a bad hire, but it sure felt like they were just going through the motions when they interviewed other candidates.

I've got some questions so far though.

Like why didn't Dalton play today?

Jameis isn't fully healthy.

I don't get that.

Dennis Allen didn’t turn the ball over 5 times today, had a veteran qb making rookie mistakes…..bottom line

Not kicking a FG before halftime was bad. The in game coaching has been bad poor both games. The offense is terrible, play calling has no edge to it, and overall has no direction.

They weren’t scoring long before Jameis threw the game away

The offensive line has looked overmatched more than I thought they would so far.

Tampa does have a beastly unit on defense so today doesn't shock me at all.

The Atlanta game left a lot more to more desired though.

The running game did better than I thought it would today but that's about it.

5 turnovers and penalties are unacceptable.

Although I hope to Christ, we don't draw that ref crew anymore this season. They can frick right off!

Anybody who says this shows just how little they keep up with football. Dalton hasn’t been good since WW2. Dude is washed and nowhere near the player Winston is.

Allen is such a good defensive mind that I would hate to lose him but I’m not sold on Carmichael at all. He hasn’t done much without a top 5 quarterback of all time.

fricking spare me

It's a legitimate question.

Edit: and frick you for just trying to insult my knowledge of the game because you don't agree with a singular statement I made.

THIS! It sounds like JW's back is freaking broken. Why was he even playing today?

Judging by some of the deep balls he uncorked, his back wasn’t bothering him that bad

He was a lazy, uninspiring hire and I was never on board with it. Let’s have basically Payton’s entire staff…without Payton. Genius.

We have a HC who wants to micromanage the defense (while we have two DCs) and put the offense in the hands of someone who was never really the primary play caller.

I’d have rather a young, fresh coach to start over with. Not Payton’s staff minus the actual head coach.

Whats crazy is the saints already saw that didnt work when payton got suspended, although with a few different names.

Not only that, but you saw allen do a complete shite job with the raiders.

Very lazy. And they have just played not to lose, rather than to win. It’s sad. I think I’m dropping my season tickets next year
