Bub? I’m not that surprised, can’t ever stay healthy and he should be pretty easy to stash on the practice squad. He’s ok depth, but he’s far down the depth chart IMO.

How does Bub Means get waived before Austin Jr, Bell, and Tipton to Pup/IR?
To my eyes he’s better than those 3. He had issues staying healthy but seems to be good to go now. This is surprising to me

I’m a little surprised Means went out so early. The seemed to be going to him a lot in preseason. Wasn’t sure he’d make the final roster, but didn’t think he’d be one of the first out.

Austin can play all the WR positions they like what he can bring depth wise.

Kevin Austin Jr and Ronnie Bell have actual production at the NFL. They LOVE Austin Jr, he can play every WR position and has really good chemistry with Shough.
Bell is a good route runner, with really good hands. Right now, both are better than Bub Means.

I think he is going to the PUP list. It won’t cost a roster spot or IR spot. Once the 6 weeks are up, release/waive him (practice squad) if there are no other injuries to the WR room.
