The overwhelming majority of the fan base would be outraged. The people bashing him nationally are a small minority who are hopping on the train because it's popular. Logical people know Brees is a great dude. If he is run out of Nola because of this, the city will riot. The saints will never recover from it and I sure as hell will never support them again.

I didn’t care about that Kap stuff. Hell I even defended him a few times. But this is seriously pissing me off. They’re really wanting tear him down. Tear down his character after all he’s done for the city and community.

I do not think people realize the amount of support Drew Brees has is overwhelming. You see what the media wants to put out but the majority of Americans support Drew Brees. Also, if you look at The negative comments ab Drew Brees, almost all support Drew.
