“Did nothing” Is definitely accurate

A lot of Brees‘s teammates are under 30. That’s why I said locker room

And he’s not some kicker, he’s their starting QB who they all will have to work alongside with. I’m not sure some of them will be fine with that.

I mean that's basically what the team is made up of. We're talking about guys whose first response was to run to twitter.

Anthem kneeling is going to be trendy AF again this year. The story may die down over the next 2 months but after the first wave of mass kneeling, you know we're peeling the scab right back off this story and the eye is going to be right back on Brees. And these same guys will be up in their feelings over it when Brees doesn't kneel with them.

If I were Drew Brees, I would retire effective immediately and move to San Diego ASAP.

Why are you saying it can burn?

But I believe Brees cares a whole lot more about his image. He’s a people pleaser. He is certainly conscious of his life after football & his numerous business ventures.

A lot of good that’s done him....

I’d absolutely retire if I were him. He’s given NOLA so much only to have so many turn his back on him for this? What?

Agreed, retire tomorrow, frick those bums who ran to twitter first. fricking New Orleans and Louisiana, always finds a way to frick something up. This state, city, deserves to have our greatest player ever retire like this.

Drew Brees is not a bad person. Just a little tone deaf

He’s been a standout person in the community, for the most part,

All of this can still be true

Dumb more like it. Thought he’d have more sense to dodge this question or at least appeal to personal choice.

Maybe.

That doesn’t mean racist though.

Is it dumb because you don't agree with it? He clearly went on to say he's for ending social injustice and will stand in the fight. But you think he's dumb for disagreeing with kapernick. The fact that he is currently viewed in a positive light and Brees is getting shite on sums up where we are as a country.

You saying he has to win the team back implies that.

I think it’s dumb to even engage this discussion when tensions are at its highest. He is an easy accessible target.
