I don’t believe your source, but I wouldn’t blame him if he walked.

Honestly, if he just says frick it and retires it would probably be more memorable to non-saints fans than if he went out with a SB victory.

It would be epic.

I’m done with the NFL. I can’t cheer for Michael Thomas and the rest after this shite.

It's funny that these threads pop up like clockwork. It's so predictable. All it was missing was his cousin's best friend's girlfriend got the listing on his house.

He’s got guys in his locker room that he’s known for years publicly calling out his character. Guy is 40 and has a guaranteed second career lined up. I could see it.

That's truly the part I do not understand. He's been a model citizen, teammate, friend for YEARS. You would think would mean something. You would think that even if they dispose his comments they understand the man and what he stands for and would not take to social media to publicly humiliate him. He doesn't deserve that.

I can’t say I would blame him. He’s never going to win back the locker room. No matter what he says or does, he will be their enemy in their eyes. Pretty sad, really. The Saints were a fun team to watch. This all or nothing bullshite is tearing people apart.

Insane to think that these people would run Drew out of Nola based on a comment about respecting our flag and the people who have died to protect it

And his replacement will be someone accused of multiple sexual assaults (including rape) and stealing crab legs from a grocery store

I doubt that’s gonna happen now. Assuming you’re referring to sports broadcasting

I always wondered if he’d keep a home in Nola after he retired. At first I thought yes, because he loves the city and the people. But then I’d think no, who would want to raise children in Nola. This seals the deal. He can leave now without giving a second thought to how his leaving will be perceived. I’d be out of that cesspool of a city as soon as I could put a For Sale sign up.

Could I see him retiring? Yes. Does the OP know anything? No.

That’s true. Either way he has plenty of money to retire with. Then Lester and Hendo can be happy with accused rapist and known thief Jameis Winston taking the helm.

Assuming you’re talking about in broadcasting. Is that really guaranteed anymore? I’m dead serious, unfortunately.

I hope so. They don’t deserve him.
Stop sending funds to the city too!
He’s probably like most of us and sick of the bullshite lately. I could tell in his response this morning that he had some fire behind it.

How long until we start hearing about boycotting WalkOns and Surge?
