I love a Tiger but Delp is the one I can’t stop thinking about. He’s so underrated

Barion brown is one of the softest receivers I've ever seen play at lsu.
He is a good kick returner but not a great receiver imo.

Let's be real, Brown got like 3 deep balls all season bc Nuss had a dead arm.

Nuss didn't have a dead arm. He had a dead ab muscle problem.

Let's see what the Saints can do with him.

Brown is a potentially a heck of a returner

How can you possibly say that when we had absolutely dreadful QB play and offensive coaching his entire time at LSU? We never got to see him do what he does best, which is run and track down the deep ball, because Nuss couldn't get it there.

they need to ban you

He was a senior, they had film on him prior to coming to LSU with the bad QB play last year. If he was considered great, he'd have gone higher. He went in the 6th rd, after the Saints took 2 other WRs. He was drafted as a return guy who might be your last WR to see the field on offense.

Ok, as a Saints and LSU fan...
Zavion Thomas goes in the 3rd, but Barrion Brown in the 6th? What's the separation?
40 times? Because having watched both on the field at the same time, if you told me one guy would run 4.28 and the other 4.4, I'd have guessed wrong which was which. Thomas seemed shifty but not blazing fast. Brown did seem to separate more deep.
Production? I didn't think either really stood out as WRs. Brown led the team with catches and yards, but it was an underwhelming year to say the least. And note, Thomas had an additional year in the system; if anything he should have been more familiar with it than Brown.
Return guys? Thomas is a good punt returner, and I'd say Brown is a better kick returner. I don't know if Brown can return punts.
Was it the 20-odd rushes and occasionally lining up as a RB? That's really the only difference between the two, as far as I can tell. Does that give you a 3 rd bump? If so, maybe more WRs should demand they get rotations in the backfield too.

I’m kinda like you. I can’t believe he went in the 3rd. Figured they’d both go around the 5th round to be honest. Not much difference between them.
