KCP + Cole Anthony would match.

You better throw in about 3-4 1sts, plus Suggs, instead of Anthony. Fox is the most valuable player on the market right now. He's not going cheap..

As the Pels, would you trade Brandon Ingram straight up for Devin Vassel, knowing what you know of the current market. Devin is a 6’5 SG/SF. 24 years old. Last years per 36 of:

21.2 points, 4.4 assists, 4.2 rebounds
47.2% FG, 37.2 3PT% on 7.1 attempts per game. TS% of 57.8%

Under contract for four more years after this season at a total of about $105 million.

I’m not sure how the minutes work out, but I think the Spurs will prioritize Castle, and I think the Kings think highly of Ingram. Couple picks still going Kings way and something could be there.

I would do that. Vassell can be your long term SG. It might mean moving Herb to the bench but Vassell is a much better offense player and shooter than Herb.

Murray Vassell Murphy Zion Missi is a lot length athleticism and shooting

As bad as it's been being a Pelicans fan, I can't imagine being a Kings fan. What an awful franchise.

PT has moaned about the #4 for Jax/NAW like it was the worst decision a team has ever made in the history of the draft. Meanwhile the Kings past 15 years or so...

2011: #7 Bismac Biyambo
2012: #5 Thomas Robinson
2013: #7 Ben McLemore
2014: #8 Nik Stauskus
2015: #6 Willie Cauley Stein
2016:#8 Marquese Chriss
2017: #5 DeAaron Fox
2018: #2 MARVIN BAGLEY III (ahead of Luka, JJJ, Trae )
2019: #19 Luka Samanic
2020: #12 Tyrese Haliburton
2021: #9 Davion Mitchell
2022: #4 Keegan Murray
2023: #24 Olivier Prosper
2024: #13 Devin Carter

Honestly this about the best you can hope for in a BI trade. Griff should jump on it.

I don’t think there’s a market for him.

I would absolutely trade BI for Vassel.

A Cj-lite type of player who allows you to move on from both Cj and bi?

Obtain assets in the process? Still tank as well.

Vassell is the kind of young player you want back in a trade. Won't be a franchise cornerstone like Sga, but a good piece on a good contract.

Why would the Spurs do that again? Castle and Vassell doesn't have any issue playing with each other. I'd imagine the out man out would be Keldon.

Because no one wants Keldon Johnson and to get a De’Aron Fox they are going to have to give something up. I don’t expect it to be fully pick based, nor do I think the Spurs want to trade as many firsts as it would take to satisfy the Kings and any other teams involved bringing win now players.

Vassell and a couple firsts makes sense. Keldon and 5 firsts does not IMO as an example.

Kings will want him in a Fox deal. They can shed salary over BI and still compete just as well.

We are one week away from the deadline today. Could see possible real movement this weekend. Newest rumor…..

Bucks interested in Jose

Maybe as part of a BI deal, but I sure hope they don’t basically give Jose away.

Youtube commentators think Fox and Rich Paul fricked themselves by leaking he has a destination in mind.

Now there won’t be a bidding was and the Spurs can lowball the Kings.

I get why players want to choose where they play but it really takes the fun out of trades and free agency.

I don’t get it. Fox and Paul want the Spurs to lowball the Kings.

Kings may not move Fox at the deadline if they are getting lowballed.

They may wait until the offseason and a team may be in position to make a rental if so.

Other than the Bagley debacle, this is actually a pretty good list.

Fox, Haliburton and Murray.

Which makes the likelihood of the Kings trading him decrease

That’s a fun hardball stance, but not factual. At the end of the day, Fox has the leverage. We’ve seen this a thousand times. He will be traded. Maybe not until the offseason, but he’s leaving the Kings. And his reasoning is family as much as anything. So this isn’t some flimsy “want” that he’s going to easily change direction.
