Trading young players and picks for old almost never works but teams and fans cannot get past names.
I said at the time the Durant trade was terrible. Durant has been fine but has it moved the needle for phoenix at all? No and look at what they gave up for a dude almost done.
Beal trade was even worse.
The Gobert trade was pretty bad but at least it kind of allowed Minny to make one run.
Lillard trade…awful.
Harden trades…
Westbrook.
Whoever traded for butler will lose the trade

It is not just the diminishing skills and body breakdowns that kill you, but the giant cap hits. Pairing Booker, Beal and Durant together turned the Suns from the deepest team in the league built with complimentary parts into a shallow arse team with players with redundant games.

Agreed we should stay away from that list of old players.
But we need to bring in another impact player in a trade while shipping out both BI/ CJ.
LaVine/ BI/ Garland/ Jarrett Allen are most ideal and effective pairing with Murray/ Zion.
The next tier down would be a group of:
MPJ
Poole
Simons
Miles Bridges
Sexton
Clarkson
Cam Johnson
Some aren't worth it and some are a bad fit. Miles Bridges would make the most sense and Cam Johnson would be the next best player but without a fit.
Miles Bridges/ Isaiah Stewart/ Grant Williams/ draft compensation is probably my favorite plan B if we can't get anyone from the top group for BI/ CJ

Still a 3+ team trade because of how many players the Warriors have to send out and the cap space for both teams.
I guess the big question is what the Warriors send out in exchange for Jimmy.
Wiggins is a given.
Schroeder can’t be aggregated with anyone else because he was a recent acquisition.
It means several guys in the $8m range like Moody, Looney, Gary Payton II, Kaminga, etc, would get moved and the value of some of those guys is more questionable than others.

It will depend on compensation. You'd have to send out Wiggins/ Payton/ Looney/ Moody to make salaries work. But Kuminga would be the best asset to assure the trade happens.
Definitely would be atleast 1 more team involved.

Is butler even that much better than Wiggins and kuminga? At this point I don’t think so and if he it’s only for a year or two at best.
Stupid trade for the warriors even though they are old and chasing one last ring

If teams are smart they wouldn't touch Beal/ Butler. There's really no reason to help them for what you'd get.

If tweet fails to load, click here. San Antonio is going to be the favorite here

So crazy. I do hate the NBA sometimes. This is a team that has been on a tear, offering him as much money as they can no doubt, fired the coach he battled with, and STILL he’s like, nah, I’m good.

Wonder if the team Fox likes is Orlando.
KCP + Cole Anthony would match.

Give them CJ/BI. Fox, DJM, Trey, Z and Missi. Herb off bench.

I can guarantee you it’s San Antonio. He’s salivating at the thought of playing with Wemby.

If I was a G in the NBA, I would want to play with Wemby too. Not all lottery winners get the same reward smh.

They really messed up trading Halliburton instead of fox.
Fox is a typical nba retard.

Kings gonna King. One of the worst run franchises in the NBA regardless of who owns them at the time.

That was so obvious I was shocked when they did it. Halliburton was saying all the right stuff and he has a winning do it all skillset. Fox is a flashy volume scorer who never showed the kind of leadership Halliburton did.
