I wanted Kuz just to trade him off for something else. Just don’t really like this trade. You have to pay BI next year. Maybe he balls out and we can package him for a star.

The reason that Boston wanted to make the trade was to persuade Kyrie to stay and have them team up. The monster trade with Boston didn't make any sense after Kyrie let it be known that he wanted out.

My only disappointment was allowing them to keep Kuzma. I wanted to gut that team into pieces if Davis was traded there. They definitely got a good deal.

Initially hate the deal because i hate helping a team in our division go from not being a playoff team to probably being a Finals team.
But, I think that Ball next to Jrue could be very good. Ingram, Zion, and whoever at #4 and you have a very, very good solid core. I just don't like the idea that we just gift wrapped the West to the Lakers.

Why did we take ball, Ingram and hart? Was it for salary reasons? A bag of skittles is more valuable than those fricks.
