Hell Yes! Free our young guards. What we have right now isn't working anyway

Agreed. At this point we are right in the thick of a top 3 pick given the smoothing of the draft and if we do shed many of our guys(Bled, JJ, Bled), it might be exciting at times(which is all I have holding me onto following this season lol), but we are probably going to finish bottom 5.

At that point go BPA and go from there.

At this point I don’t think we are likely in the Beal sweepstakes because he really would only make sense if you are keeping some of these vets around seeing he is expiring next year(no way he opts into that final year with the way he is playing)

Aka, don't expect anything of value out of the deals made except maybe some trade exceptions and lower picks.

I still think Boston should be all over Bledsoe, he fits perfectly into their TPE, and only has them 400k over the tax. They need insurance for Walker in the playoffs.
Does look like we should brace for not getting much in return. I do not think we should rush getting rid of Bledsoe as he may be more valuable in the offseason and we could use a vet with Kira. Ball and JJ make sense to trade just to ensure they do not walk away for nothing after the season.

All this Bledsoe and zo talk, makes me worried we're gonna keep Redick since svg wants him.

Not a bad idea, but Eric Bledsoe being labeled as Playoff Insurance is like labeling 1 roll of single ply toilet paper as diarrhea insurance.

I think all three are clearly on the block right now.

And Redick will probably be the easiest to move, and sadly, probably the biggest return.

I think the Bledsoe seems to be like EG out there and he doesn't want to be here or a part of what we are trying to do. JJ embraced the veteran role of teaching guys. I don't think Bledsoe wants to do that, and he wants out. I also think it would be easier to move him in the offseason.

I'm not asking to trade all 3 and for Kira to start. I just want him to play at least 18 minutes a game. We still need a PG on this team other than him, and Bledsoe is the only one we have, so unless we get one back in all these trades we are looking at, he really needs to stay, much more so than the other two.

If we traded all three, we absolutely have to get back a veteran PG that can play significant minutes, and we'd also need to get back another wing player that can play significant minutes.

JJ's been talked about and he seems like the most likely to move IMO. We have very strong reason to believe he's gone in the offseason and he might be able to net you a 1st without bringing any money back (Boston).

I think that Bledsoe's skills are in significant decline, and I think that GMs know this. He is not an appreciating asset, and I think he'll be worth less in the offseason.

Because of the contract, I have a hard time seeing the Pels move Bled for anything that makes more sense than just keeping him.

I think some GM is going to talk himself into Zo, and that we actually do well in that trade.

JJ is a snap, and will def net is something useful.

NAW times, Sons. Let’s do this.

He essentially becomes an expiring after this season.

@WillGuillory

Stan Van Gundy says he had a talk with Lonzo Ball and JJ Redick about the trade rumors this morning.

He said the players understand that dealing with the outside noise and COVID protocols are part of today's NBA. It's something you can't avoid.
Well that definitely wasn't a "the rumors aren't true," meeting.

Well, I wonder how much SVG would even know.

Worth noting for the internal gossip, Josh Hart liked this Kendrick Perkins tweet yesterday

Then promptly unliked it but two Pels podcasts and Pels Twitter caught it

Is Ball and JJ for Beal at all realistic?

Sure, if you attach 100 first round picks

If you throw in 4 firsts 4 pick swaps, Kira, NAW, and Hayes.

....And I’m not exactly sure i would say no TBH.

Beal is THAT good and we would have two legit top 20 players(Zion/BI) and one top 5 player(Beal) on this team

The fact that Lonzo is injured tonight and Kira still isn’t getting minutes leads me to believe they aren’t getting rid of all 3 and maybe not 2 of the 3. They’ll trade one just to open up minutes for NAW

They should be willing to trade everything they got from the Lakers and Bucks for Beal. If you look at it as AD and Jrue for Ingram and Beal, that's perfectly fine. Especially when you know you have Zion too. I just don't know if Washington will take that. We really need one of NAW or Kira to turn into a very promising young player.
