Let’s say we keep the pick. Who do you like at 24?

Some guys that may be available in the 24ish range:

Josh Green
Tyrell Terry
Desmond Bane
Theo Maledon
Jaden Mcdaniels
Vernon Carey
Tyler Bey

Obviously at 24 there are tons of guys that could be taken and Euros enter the equation big time.

But who do you like?

Bane and Terry’s shooting ability intrigue me. Mcdaniels has so many flaws but his athleticism and talent is who I would probably take a chance on. Swing for the fences. I can also understand people falling in love with Carey.

Green might have the highest ceiling

I like Bane though

Jaden Mcdaniels

I think he's the most talented guy left at that point. Was one of the top 5-10 guys in his HS class. He's not as good as MPJ, but its a similar situation. We dont need him, so if he's a bust, who cares? But if it works out, its a huge steal.

I’ve seen a couple mocks today that had him available at 24.

If he’s there, we need to take a chance. If not, I really also like Terry and Bane.

Yeah, when you look at the draft boards there are a number of scenarios where guys like Cole or Jalen Smith seem to be slipping into that range while guys like Josh Green are moving into the teens.

Seems things are all over the board after the top 5 or so talents and it gets really crazy after 10.

Seems like there is a good chance someone falls further than expected.

How I feel too. No doubt will have the most potential if hes left there at 24. Wasnt an efficient scorer in college, but showed the ability to create for himself and others. Had a good stroke on catch and shoot 3’s. Will definitely have to gain atleast 20 lbs to finish against bigger players and for defensive purposes. Maybe we could transfer some of Zions weight if he ends up with us

Also wouldnt mind a player like Balmaro as a draft and stash. Either way im big on going most talented player available

If we are just talking about talent I'm with you on McDaniels.

Only thing is he led the pac12 in techs.
He went from starting to the bench a bunch.
He scares me in that way

Maledon just seems like that steady handed point guard.

He doesn't jump off with athleticism
I think the pels need to draft a point.
Just don't know if I'd pick him

Could see us using 39 and 42 to move up to the early second and getting a player like Peyton Pritchard or Yam Madar who some people are more impressed with than Deni Avidja

Bane. That guy is big and strong enough to contribute this season. Can dribble, pass, shoot, and defend. What’s not to like.

I like Tyrell Terry
He has a shooting motion almost like Steph and Steve Nash

Think he was 42% spot up
58% off screens
I really like him
You can never habe enough shooting
Josh green doesn't really impress me. He will probably be a great defender and won't really get in the way on offense
