We could get Winslow, Herro/Nunn, and Leonard/Dragic for him easily from Miami

Pretty sure Herro is just turning 20. He is freaking BELOVED down here and the Heat are infatuated with him. We’re not getting him for Jrue.

I would trade Jrue for him 100/100 times at this point.

i figured he was older.
Really slick.

I get that they love him.
My point exactly.

Op is unaware.

1st, Jrue is 29

2nd, they need/want another "star" veteran next to Butler. They can't sign him, they will have to trade for him. With no draft picks they will have to send Herro or Nunn out no matter what

He got 36 from all over in the roasting of memphis.

Followed by 4/11 and 5/17

Like clockwork he has one great game and 5 below average games. Not even decent, but downright bad games.

I'd entertain something with Spencer Dinwiddie and Caris LaVert/ Joe Harris but other than that idk.

No chance the heat are trading Herro for Jrue. Herro is putting up Booker rookie numbers

Jrue and Frank to Brooklyn for Spencer Dinwiddie, DeAndre Jordan and Rodions Kurucs.

You are not getting herro.

They hit the jackpot in the middle of the round.
I knew it before the draft.
So did riley.

Geez. What makes you think they would take a 31 yr old and really big salary and give up on a 23 yr old small salary for a similar guy.
Herro better shooter.
Jrue better d.

Herro is a high iq guy.

So, when you say 31, you mean 29, huh? Players like Herro are nice, but in a run for a title, very expendable if a quality player in his prime can he had.

Booker's numbers weren't phenomenal. Does that mean anyone who averages those will translate into Devin Booker?

Herro may be exciting as a prospect, but he's a 20 year old rookie. The Heat have Butler and an aging Pat Riley in charge. Riles might be gone and Butler will probably be a much lesser player by the time Herro is ready to compete at contention level in 3-4 years. Maybe they value Herro enough to ask for more than Jrue in a trade, but I can't imagine the Heat believe Herro helps them achieve their goals more than Jrue would.

Also, Per 36 minutes Rookie Marcus Thornton seems pretty comparable and actually a little better than Tyler Herro.

I honestly haven't watched Herro so maybe he has that "It" factor, but what is there about him that says he's the next Devin Booker instead of the next Marcus Thornton?

on a cheap contract.
In new jersey as a 12 to 14 yr old we called guys with herro's game "gunners".
Guys with the green light conferred by their own ego.

Gunner on mid first rookie deal.
Vs jrue. Very nice but paid like it.

But i dont get why guys want to deal jrue.
Imho The ones who want to deal him undervalue him.

I admit it, i fell in love with jrue couple years ago.

Lets get this straight: pels last three weeks schedule is mostly going to be tanking teams.
Therefore, look at jrue as part of playoff run.
Id rather have jrue, as is, than herro.

i mean that’s an important trait to have. You wanna make deep playoff runs? You need good defense
