think we see him come to camp around 290 lbs and if he did the Pels would call that a major victory.

I don't understand how that would work. There is just no comp for someone his size. I just can't believe that he is so unique that it will work out somehow. I can't think of someone whose games was remotely as explosive as his, who lived above the rim at anywhere remotely near his size. If you take that away, I don't know how good he would still be. Maybe he could adapt and become a Elton Brand type. That's not a knock, as Brand was pretty solid for a long time. I just believe that is way too heavy..

Next decade? You are delusional.

He's only 21 years old.

Was drafted at 19. Give the kid some time to grow and mature (both mentally and physically).

Acting like we need to trade him now is asinine

The chances he's here for a decade are almost zero. Us trading him is only one possible reason for that. You've ignored the others.

They are actually extremely wrong. If you just watch the video of him in a suit and not in what seems like 2 layers of sweats youll see he lost a ton of weight.
look Zion is in decent shape and at least is back to being around where he was when he was playing for us. But he’s no where near the body fat percentage like when he was at Duke. I actually don’t even think he’ll ever get to that level of physique at this point.

They aren’t wrong. Zion is about 315 lbs looking at that video.

Stop trying to base a person’s weight off cherry picked videos of a guy with a low center of gravity in a baggy track suit. Literally anyone with that body type will look 30 pounds heavier.

This is him from December, when people said he was 315 because they saw him in similar clothes at a game(and he WAS bigger at that point than what we have seen in the shirtless video and in the church/dog walking photos)

Again this was zion during PEAK “he’s 325 pounds!!” catastrophizing bullshite.

Jordan Brand needs to assign him a better fashion coordinator is what pretty much all this 325 pounds bullshite comes down to…and a bunch of Baws that don’t seem to understand how layers of clothes, not tailored properly, can trick people’s perception of size.

We aren't getting explosive Zion back. Our best bet is to get the quick bully in the paint.

And thats fricking sad for a 21 year old

Why should I trust the opinion of anonymous TD user shel311 over a hall of fame professional athlete who looks like he can still play if his 50s?
His job is to say sensationalism shite. It's wild that you don't realize that.

Like honestly, why should his opinion be discredited in favor of yours? Dont deflect either. I’m truly interested

I answered. He doesn't get paid to be honest. He gets paid to say wild shite that'll make headlines.

What weight do you think he's at?
He looks the same as he did all last season, which I'd guess is 275 ish.

There is zero chance he weighs 300lbs.

Hush, what does Shannon Sharpe know about fitness??

Clearly we should be listening to whatiknowsofar, as he is the superior authority on the topic.
Skip Bayless has covered sports his entire life.

LOL at you admitting we should take Skips sports takes seriously.

You are doing the same exact thing as them and guessing based off pictures and video. That's all we can do right now.

Some of you are blind. He still looks pretty big to me. Looks like he definitely still needs to drop at least 20-25 pounds

The other thing many are doing is pulling old pictures out. We’ve seen Zion on significant weight is very short periods.

Charles Barkley admitted wearing larger outfits to hide his fatness. Just saying

He also admitted that Moses Malone's tough love is the only reason he didn't retire early on the couch with a box of pizza.

Zion has a clause in his 100s of millions of dollar contract explicitly saying that he can't be too fat. Dude has a serious problem, and this board loves to downplay his weight. He doesn't have discipline to care for his body enough to stay on the court. He's unironically an enormous anchor on the team.

Did anybody expect him to play? Did y’all honestly not know he was gonna still be “evaluated”?

Here’s another thing y’all are gonna be sad about. He’s gonna get hurt again next year.

I can 100% guarantee it. He’s going to be a massive pain in the arse until he’s gone from here and then he’s gonna be a powerhouse for some team while he blames the Ochsner doctors and training staff.

His weight + body fat needs to be under 295 per his contract right? Almost No chance he is under that. Also with the hammy severely limiting what kind of cardio he could do, with his body type, it was gonna be nearly impossible for him to not gain weight. he may be able to drop his 15 or whatever lb in a week and be ready to go in 8 days for the playoffs.

If you can't tell that Zion is a guy who carries most of his weight in his hips / upper legs / waist and he is visibly fat as shite in this picture, then you are short a few brain cells
