MM suggested Hayes and Graham for Tim Hardaway, Jr. Thoughts?

Hard pass, that’s a horrible contract. Hayes and Graham are neutral contracts if anything.

Which is funny since he turned down a larger contract from us last offseason.

Word is Knicks are trying very hard to get a team to take Fournier.

Who else are they trying to add?

I've seen reports that they are targeting Dejounte Murray in addition to Brunson. I also saw a Murray rumor where a team in the East was willing to offer a young player and 3 1sts. Not sure if that fits the Knicks or not. Who is an expendable, yet desirable young player that they have? I guess they don't need all their guards if they're adding Brunson/Murray.

Sometimes you get saved from yourself.

For example, Danny Ainge tried to trade four firsts to Charlotte so he could get Justice Winslow. He got saved because Charlotte’s front office was really stupid and wanted Frank Kaminsky.

Since Noel and Burks are off the board

Graham and Hayes for KCP

Temple either bought our traded for a fake second to someone who needs a body

Sign either Hartenstein or Bamba to part of MLE. Liddell to the rest

With the overabundance of guards on their roster, would the Spurs want Obi Toppin?

Bomba is an RFA. No point in making that offer unless Orlando renounces him.

That being said, Dallas can actually give Brunson more money than the Knicks can if they want to. Whether they actually do it is another matter

I was looking at the Mavs payroll. As of now they have 8 guys scheduled to make over 10M next year. I think that is the most in the league. I just thought it was odd..

If I were them i'd throw that FA money at Bridges, then use those "assets" to trade for Murray. Problem is those picks are basically all lottery protected.

Knicks are getting those picks for an eventual play for Donovan Mitchell IMO.

Could be the Hawks, they have plenty of young talent. Or, as mentioned above, could be Obi Toppin.

When free agency opens on Thursday, the New York Knicks are expected to present Jalen Brunson a four-year offer in the vicinity of $110 million, league sources tell @YahooSports.

Bruh…27.5 AAV for Brunson

Wonder if both the Hornets and Knicks would be interested in a Randle for Bridges S&T deal...

I just don’t get the Brunson thing. Like at all. They’re clearing cap space like he’s a top 10 player in the league.

Terrible. Hardaway is overpaid and not very good.

MM also suggested in that thread that trade would be a last resort.

Said KCP deal would be ideal

last resort for what?
they don’t HAVE to sign anybody and all they need is one roster spot (waive or trade temple)

Yeah. At this point, we should just waive Temple and go with the team as it is.

Ball got 4/85M. Most think that is a fair deal. Brunson is a better player or has been at this point. It is a slight overpay. But 27M a year is barely top 50.

I wouldn't do it. Dallas would be crazy to match. They are in the tax. So that 27M a year would be a lot more for them..
