They are stupid and desperate but not to that level.
Pelinka, Jeannie, the Rambii, etc, will insist on someone they feel will get them a title.
LeBron and Klutch will want a huge name or one of their boys.

Yeah, Memphis’ totals are very interesting IMHO.
They apparently played hopscotch with draft picks, moving up and down to get most of their roster.

The grizzlies has been trading up or acquiring picks to land their guys in the last several years.

Dillon Brooks was a trade as well.
They don't wait for guys to fall. If they have a player they like, they'll go after them in the draft.
