Moody is gonna be drafted for defense and potential I'm guessing. He struggled at times on offense. Maybe it's because I watched him play so much that I saw a lot of bad with the good. Arkansas fans were always hard on the guy.

In the nba you draft for potential though, even moreso than the nfl. I do remember him being long and a good defender.

I've been going through a ton of mocks and I'm seeing the same two names the most, one of the two I'm seeing 3 times and the other I've seen twice.

The one I've seen the most is the 2 guard from uconn named james bouknight

The other is the point guard tre mann from florida

Moses moody would be good though and hes very likely to still be around. I was getting him confused with the guy from alabama that was overrated imo,so disregard my earlier criticism of him. Hes shooting 35% from 3 which isnt that bad.

Would anyone here take a trade back witn the knicks?

They have 19 and 21

Jmo, but in the nba I hate trading back, usually the players that contribute in the first couple years are top 10 drafted guys.its the sport that has the fewest number of sleeper picks that turn into something.hell, even the 10th overall pick usually doesnt play much in the first 2 or 3 years,if he ever contributes to the team who drafted him at all,and even more rarely as a starter.

If I could talk someone into taking our number 10 with our 22 early 2nd round picks,I would.

I doubt that we could find someone ahead of us a few spots to do it though.
2nd round picks are pretty much worthless to alot of teams.

Not worthless, but just not as valuable as lamans would think

If Wagner was coming from Europe & not Michigan he’d go in the top 6

Gonzaga’s Corey Kispert measures a 37.5” max vert and has the second highest score in the combine (so far) for the shuttle run.

I guess the important context needed is how many people have gone(and who) and how many still to go?

Second highest shuttle at the combine’s impressive if it’s 90% done. Potentially a bit less so if they are 25% in.

I remember last year's combine had some strange vertical numbers coming out that didn't reflect how those guys looked in game, at all.

Then reports started coming out that teams had different numbers than the ones reported.

30 vert is pretty bad. I can do that and I’m not a basketball player.

37.5- the number you posted below is pretty damn good. I can get on board with that along with the shuttle times. The shuttle times show maybe he can run around screens and get open ala Dunc Rob or Klay.

30 is standing vert and the 37.5 is max.

Here’s a comp:

2018
Kevin Huerter
HT 6’7.25” (shoes), WS 6’7.5”, Body fat 8.6%, Max Vert 38”

2021
Corey Kispert
HT 6’7.25” (shoes), WS 6’7”, Body fat 6.8%, Max Vert 37.5”

I know some people like Keon Johnson's potential.

Tennessee's Keon Johnson smashed Kenny Gregory's 20-year NBA Combine record with an outrageous 48 inch vertical leap. Also posted a 41 1/2 inch standing vertical leap.

Gregory's max vert record was 45.5"

. That is some crazy athleticism. It's hard for me to look past the .271 3 point shooting but if you can get him to average then look out.

You shouldn't. It takes more than being an athlete to be an NBA player. The guy who held the record for 20 years, Kenny Gregory, played 1 year in the DLeague and that's it LINK
