I would definitely entertain the OG/Jrue trade. OG is a really good defender. He shot well his first year and has battled injuries since then. Their first round picks aren’t that valuable, but I think I’d do that deal for a 2021 first and 2023 first.
Just OG and one first doesn’t seem like enough. Ibaka doesn’t really bring any value for us in the trade since he’s and expiring.

you need Ibaka in that deal to make salary.
that he is expiring is a good thing

I know that. Doesn’t change the fact that he doesn’t really bring much value to us, since we aren’t competing this year and likely wouldn’t resign him.

of course he brings value
he takes holidays salary slot this year and then drops off, meaning next year they have that slot to work with.

they would have the equivalent of a max salary slot to go fishing with, a year before they’d have to extend OG and lonzo

Cmon cgrand. You know what I mean. His value is no different than any other expiring of similar dollar value.

GS wants Minny to give up their 2020 1st, and Minny doesn't want to do it. They've been trying to get other 1sts

wheres the real trade thread?

Minnesota, Atlanta, Houston are in serious discussions on a deal that would send Robert Covington to Rockets and Clint Capela to the Hawks. Evan Turner and draft compensation involved in current talks to Timberwolves. Potential fourth team too.

Maybe able to send them a 2nd

He has only shot 87 3s in his 3 year career and has averaged less than 9 minutes a game in all the games he has played in. My guess is he has not impressed them much in 3 years.

Per Kevin O'Connor-

O’Connor reports that the Timberwolves are offering their own protected 2020 first-round pick as well as Brooklyn’s lottery-protected 2020 first-rounder, which would be acquired as part of a multi-team trade sending Robert Covington to Houston and Clint Capela to Atlanta. However, the Warriors prefer future first-round picks, including Minnesota’s unprotected 2021 first-rounder, according to O’Connor, who notes that the 2020 draft isn’t considered a particularly strong one.

4-team trade agreement: Houston: Robert Covington; Atlanta: Clint Capela and Nene; Minnesota: Malik Beasley, Juancho Hernangomez, Evan Turner, ATL 1st round pick via Nets; Denver: Gerald Green, Houston FRP.

Minnesota's Keita Bates-Diop is going to Denver in deal

Houston is also receiving Jordan Bell and a second-round draft pick.

Seems like Denver picked up another pick to put in their next trade.

Otherwise they're a contender that just dumped two role players.

Noah Vonleh also headed to Denver, per sources

Shamit was speculating they're building up their bid for Jrue.
